GameFlow Joins DigitalOcean Hatch
By GameFlow Team
GameFlow has been accepted into DigitalOcean Hatch, DigitalOcean's program for early-stage startups. This adds a second top-tier cloud provider to the substrate we're building GameFlow on top of.
Why DigitalOcean
DigitalOcean's reputation for simplicity, predictable pricing, and developer ergonomics is a strong match for what we're building. Multiplayer infrastructure has to be fast, reliable, and cost-predictable, and DigitalOcean's droplet model and managed Kubernetes give us a clean substrate to deploy regional game server fleets without overspending.
What Hatch includes
The program plugs us into DigitalOcean's startup ecosystem:
- One-on-ones with DigitalOcean product managers, engineers, and solutions architects
- Standard-tier technical support for production reliability
- Infrastructure credits across compute, networking, storage, and managed services
- The DigitalOcean Startup community and Marketplace visibility
The credits matter, they extend our runway on regional capacity, but the bigger unlock is the technical access. Direct lines to the engineers who build the platform we're scaling on.
Multi-cloud by design
Combined with our AWS Activate acceptance earlier this year, GameFlow now runs on two top-tier cloud providers. That flexibility means we can route players to the lowest-latency, most cost-effective region under the hood, without being locked to a single vendor. Studios using GameFlow won't have to think about any of this.
