GameFlow Awarded Prototyping Grant Through AUGE
By GameFlow Team
We're thrilled to share that GameFlow has been selected to receive non-reimbursable prototyping funds from Costa Rica's SBD, granted through the AUGE business accelerator program.
A rigorous selection process
After a multi-stage evaluation by the SBD jury committee, GameFlow earned a final score above the cut-off mark established for the 2025 application cycle. The committee provided detailed feedback on our idea, our technical approach, and our go-to-market plan, which we'll be folding into the months ahead.
What the funds unlock
The grant is dedicated to prototyping, exactly where GameFlow lives right now. Funds will go directly toward building out the core of the platform:
- Self-driving dedicated game server hosting with regional ping-based routing
- A configurable matchmaker that small teams can wire up in a few lines of code
- Skill rating models that work out-of-the-box, without needing a data scientist on staff
Why this matters
Building multiplayer is still one of the hardest things a small studio can take on. Every team rebuilds the same servers, the same matchmaker, the same rating systems at enormous cost in time and engineering. We're betting that self-driving infrastructure can flip that equation, so a two-person studio can ship a multiplayer title at the quality bar of a much larger team.
This grant is a meaningful unlock. It buys us runway, validation, and access to the AUGE ecosystem: a network of mentors, investors, and fellow founders who have walked this path before.
Thank you
Massive thanks to the AUGE team, the SBD jury committee, and everyone who supported us through this process. To the indie game developers waiting on us, we hear you, and we're building.
If you want early access to GameFlow, you can request it from the homepage. More to come soon.
